Of all the forests’ trees in the world, one of the most famous has been growing for thousands of years in Sequoia National Park, California.

‘The President’ is one of the tallest trees on earth and has been growing for 3,200 years. The giant sequoia stands 247 feet tall and 27 feet in diameter! But, according to NatGeo experts, when you account for the overall width and above-ground size of ‘The President,’ it very well could be the largest tree on the planet.

Every day we lose over 6,000 acres of forest habitat. It’s up to all of us to preserve what we have left and make this world a better place for our children.
